Visit to Ischigualasto Provincial Park, a Natural
World Heritage Site: Traditional Day Tour, consisting
of 4 stations (Valle Pintado, Cancha de Bochas, El
Submarino, El Hongo) along a 40-kilometer internal
route. Also includes a visit to the William Sill
Interpretation Center. To reach the park, the journey
takes National Route 150, allowing us to appreciate
its scenic views along the way.

Through Quebrada de Las Burras, we follow the San Juan River to the town of Calingasta, located at the foot of the
Andes Mountains. Visit to Cerro El Alcázar, a natural monument characterized by its whimsical shapes and vibrant
colors, created by erosion over time. The Christ of Mercy (Cristo de la
Misericordia), an impressive 27-meter-tall sculpture located on a 50-meter hill.
Subsequent transfer to El Leoncito National Park, which reveals a surprising
variety of landscapes, such as plains between mountain ranges, Puna flatlands,
mountain ridges, and small high-altitude oases. Visit to the CESCO or CASLEO
Astronomical Complex, located inside the national park. We will take a guided
tour, visiting the different facilities and the main telescope. Before starting our
return, we will make a stop at Pampa El Leoncito, also known as Barreal Blanco,
a desert plain located opposite the park.

Important: The visit to the Astronomical Complex will depend on its opening and availability. Operating days are subject to change.
They are likely to be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Full-Day Thermal Springs Experience – Hotel Termas de Pismanta

Departure: 08:30 am | Drop-off: 05:30 pm aprox.
Morning departure to Pismanta. Arrival at
the Termas de Pismanta Hotel, where we can
enjoy the thermal pool and other hotel
facilities. The activity includes a bathrobe, towel, and access to both the recreational and
individual pools. At noon, lunch is included at the hotel restaurant (two-course meal, drinks not included). Return to San Juan in the afternoon.
